Numeracy Educator

A committed and enthusiastic Numeracy Educator is sought to join a well-regarded secondary institution in Tameside. This role involves teaching key stage 3 and 4 on a full-time basis, contributing to the academic development of students.

The position requires a full-time commitment, five days a week, and welcomes applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as seasoned educators.

As a member of the teaching staff, you will be expected to engage fully with the department and the school community, participating in departmental meetings and being available for parent consultations. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge students and enhance their learning experience.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc.)

Prior experience working with young individuals (references available)

Experience in a Secondary School setting (references available)

Current Safeguarding training completed within the last year (essential, training can be provided)

Current Prevent awareness training completed within the last three years (essential, training can be provided)

Current behavior management and FGM training (essential, training can be provided).

Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new certificate.
