About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail LTD. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and improving store performance
  • Lead and develop a team of sales assistants to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales goals
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and inventory control
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, customer service, and sales standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving store performance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
