About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team at AKT II. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural design solutions for a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects across various sectors, including commercial, health, retail, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and provide technical guidance to contractors.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues from other disciplines within the office.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong background in structural engineering, with a good understanding of concrete and steel structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality structural design solutions on complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the field.
