Job Title: BEMS Commissioning Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled BEMS Commissioning Specialist to join our team at NRL. As a BEMS Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for pre-commissioning and commissioning BEMS systems, including control panels that monitor and control mechanical and electrical systems within active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-commission and commission BEMS systems, including control panels that monitor and control mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Understand how the BEMS interacts with M&E systems, including mechanical systems, air systems, hydraulic systems, FCU's and chilled beams, electrical systems, energy monitoring and metering, lighting, fire, security, smart technologies, and more.
  • Read and understand Schedule of Deliverables, Interface Matrix, Network Architecture Drawings, Functional Design Specifications, Points Schedules, Technical submittals, RFI's, and other relevant documents.
  • Liaise with Operations Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineers, other staff, subcontractors, and clients as required to carry out this role.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly to health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering qualifications (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent).
  • Ability to understand system software and graphics.
  • Valid CSCS or ECS site card.
