The Role
The establishment is on the lookout for an innovative and skilled Lead Confectionery Artisan with proficiency in both sweet and savory creations. This role encompasses the development of a seasonal menu that reinvents traditional dishes while preserving the brand's core values and culture. Additional responsibilities include crafting a brunch menu and overseeing the production of signature breads and desserts.
The Perfect Candidate
Previous experience as a Lead Confectionery Artisan or a driven Pastry Sous Chef in a high-volume, high-caliber environment is essential. - Expertise in both sweet and savory baking, with significant menu development experience. - Proven track record in guiding junior pastry teams during production and service, with a dedication to excellence. - Must possess energy, enthusiasm, self-awareness, empathy, and a strong commitment to integrity. - Outstanding communication and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail. - Experience in managing the fast-paced challenges of a new culinary venue is highly desirable.
