About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bank Staff Nurse to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the care needs of patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Minimum 6 months post-registration experience in an acute trust setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
