About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Employability Coach to join our Supported Employment team in Flintshire. As an Employability Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to develop the skills and confidence needed to secure paid employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-the-job employment support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Work intensively with individuals to develop relevant skills for employment
  • Support individuals to gain work experience in a large business
  • Enable individuals to increase their independence and achieve their aspirations
  • Empower individuals to make decisions and choices around their future employment
  • Ensure individuals are kept safe
About You

You will have a Can Do attitude, be driven and enthusiastic about helping people with learning disabilities to meet their aspirations. You will have the ability to look for creative solutions to meet people's support needs in a way that respects their individuality. You will work well using your own initiative and in partnership with colleagues from partner organisations, and with Hft's Work Options Manager.
