Job Title: Technical Broadcast Media Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Broadcast Media Engineer to join our team at PCR Digital. As a key member of our Media Applications and Broadcast Systems team, you will be responsible for supporting the rollout, migration, and support of TV Channels across the EMEA, APAC, and LATAM region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical bridge between Playout and the Business to resolve issues related to Linear and Non-Linear channel operations.
  • Coordinate configuration and testing of Playout systems, including Playlist testing and Media Testing.
  • Work with Playout Graphic teams across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM to develop data models and structures for Promotional and Secondary Events.
  • Engage with the business to interface with External clients, including Analysis, Implementation, and Testing for Commercial Airtime Sales.
  • Ensure data flow throughout the supply chain allows for linear and non-linear content to be delivered to consumers.
  • Identify gaps and provide workarounds to maintain consistency in output.
  • Manage business issues related to data structures, models, and segmentation of media.
  • Work with the quality assurance team to ensure workflows are captured and properly documented for quality testing of products.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a development/engineering role in the Media industry.
  • Understanding of SQL programming and other databases.
  • Solid understanding of XML/XSL/JSON and other data formats.
  • Familiarity with Playout systems and general workflows related to this.
