Your Responsibilities

As a Finance Strategy Partner, you will collaborate with the technology finance team to support Digital X initiatives. Your insights and market intelligence will be vital in guiding leadership in making informed decisions regarding products, costs, and investments, as well as in executing the bank's digital and engineering strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate the financial implications of regulatory changes on products and services.
  • Conduct investment tracking and forecasting assessments.
  • Utilize data and analytical methodologies to address strategic challenges using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Work alongside our Finance Centre of Excellence to deliver tailored financial plans, forecasts, stress tests, and analyses of customers, markets, or segments.
  • Critically assess resource allocation in investment proposals and business cases.

Required Skills

To excel in this position, you will need strong stakeholder management abilities, along with the capacity to communicate effectively, influence decisions, and resolve conflicts. Your planning and organizational skills will be essential, as will your ability to navigate ambiguity, uncertainty, and risk in a dynamic environment.

Additionally, you should possess:

  • Robust data analysis and modeling capabilities.
  • The skill to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and straightforward manner.
  • The expertise to develop and evaluate plans, forecasts, models, and stress scenarios.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to leverage business acumen to support organizational objectives.
  • Solid knowledge of finance functions, accounting principles, and insights into product areas and market segments.
