Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operational Cleaner to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks to a high standard
  • Ensure all areas of buildings, including offices and living accommodation communal areas, are cleaned to the highest standards
  • Carry out thorough cleans in living accommodation and deep clean buildings as required
  • Respond to requests for specialized cleaning tasks, such as descaling and machine floor cleaning
  • Work collaboratively with the Operational Team Supervisor and other team members to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass enhanced security vetting and have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as all training will be provided
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to agreed cleaning standards
  • Strong team player with a willingness to take instruction and work collaboratively
