Support Services Coordinator

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

£26,000 per annum

Temporary Position

This innovative service is designed to assist individuals impacted by significant recent events, including various forms of crime. Many of those affected may require guidance in coping with the repercussions of trauma.

Role Overview:

As a Support Services Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:


* Assisting individuals who are experiencing the effects of loss and those who have been victims of criminal activities.

* Conducting outreach calls to individuals referred to the service.

* Evaluating their needs and potential risks, and formulating a tailored support strategy.

* Maintaining regular communication with clients via phone, video conferencing, or in-person meetings as agreed.

* Documenting all actions and pertinent information in our case management system.

* Providing information regarding the Victims' Code of Practice and the Criminal Justice System.

* Collaborating with law enforcement and other relevant organizations as necessary.

Additionally, you may be required to:


* Participate in multi-agency meetings on behalf of clients.

* Offer support throughout court proceedings and other legal processes.

* Direct clients to additional resources, including mental health and bereavement services.


Depending on the evolving needs of clients and the nature of ongoing investigations, travel may be necessary to provide support and attend relevant meetings.
