Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Job Summary:

Sphere Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee all building services packages for on-site construction projects. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all engineering services, resources, supply chain management, cost reporting, procurement, client liaison, consultant liaison, project reporting, site auditing, and ensuring on-site health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all engineering services, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Oversee resource allocation, including labor and sub-contractors.
  • Manage supply chain, including procurement and logistics.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost reporting and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • BTEC/HNC in Building Services, IOSH, CSCS, SMSTS.
  • Experience in managing building services/M&E packages, delivering on time and program.
  • Management of procurement, labor, and sub-contractors.
  • Management of contract costs and variations – projects over £2m.
  • Health and safety management, risk assessments.
  • Compilation and presenting operating and maintenance manuals.
  • Full UK driving license, British national, and subject to SC clearance.
