We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join our team as Director of Care at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the leadership, management, and ongoing development of our Care Team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic development and operational delivery of family-centred care, ensuring the highest possible standards for our patients and their families.
- Hold the public position of CQC Registered Manager on behalf of the hospice.
- Enable multi-disciplinary teamwork, liaising with colleagues and teams across the hospice, and develop high-quality holistic and clinical care and practice.
- Provide strong, visible, and supportive leadership to Heads of Department and Governance and Quality Leads, enabling them to effectively lead their teams and continually review and develop services.
- Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team, participating in effective leadership of the charity, alongside strategy and policy development and delivery.
We are looking for an experienced leader within a healthcare setting who can inspire and motivate a large multidisciplinary team. You will need to be visible within the hospice setting and quickly establish relationships with both your Senior Leadership peers, the Trustee Board, and the wider care team.
As a registered nurse, you will lead with clinical expertise and credibility, balancing the strategic and governance elements of the role. You will be a natural people leader who can galvanise the team and effectively manage operational changes, working with your care leadership team.
Requirements- NMC registered nurse with accredited qualification and appropriate professional membership.
- Evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
- Extensive leadership experience.
- Grounding in research methodology.
