Principal Flood Risk Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water Environment team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to lead models on a range of projects, mentor and develop other consultants, and work with clients and regulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement flood risk assessments and hydrological modeling techniques
  • Work with clients and regulatory authorities to understand and meet their needs
  • Lead and manage projects, including budgetary control and work winning
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the Water Environment team in the region
Requirements:
  • Strong background in hydrological and hydraulic modeling, with experience in Flood Modeler Pro or TUFLOW
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities
