Job Title: MOT Tester - Vehicle Inspection Specialist

Salary: £30,000 basic, £40,000 OTE

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have superb technical knowledge and a professional attitude, ensuring the highest quality of service is maintained. Our client is looking for a self-motivated individual who can use their own initiative to work alongside our existing team in their busy service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests
  • Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and repair vehicle faults
  • Work to the highest quality standards and maintain high standards of housekeeping
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve efficiency targets
  • Hold a level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair NVQ or equivalent

Requirements:

  • Relevant manufacturer experience
  • Smart appearance
  • Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT
  • Understanding of basic vehicle design, function, and location of parts
  • Relevant product knowledge
  • Supports others to continuously improve performance
  • Seeks feedback on own performance, takes responsibility for own development
  • Understands the drivers of business performance and uses them to optimize commercial opportunities
  • Plans and manages processes, resources, and workflows efficiently
  • Demonstrates openness to change and improvement
