About the Role:

Sulzer is seeking a skilled Pump Technician to join our thriving Aberdeen (Ellon) Service Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various pump systems, ensuring timely delivery and dependable quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Dismantle and record dimensional findings, detailing any fault on the report form.
  • Repair of components, including fitting and pinning wear rings, bushes, pressure testing, and dynamic balancing.
  • Reclamation of pump components for safe re-use.
  • Assembly of basic and complex pump types in line with inspection reports and work instructions.
  • Compile records and reports as required, and comply with all relevant Company Procedures and Processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of various pump systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with pump systems and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components and the ability to perform hands-on repairs and adjustments.
  • Clear and effective communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
