Job Opportunity

Finitas is seeking a skilled Delegated Authority Officer to join their team. Reporting into the Head of Delegated Authority, you will also have the opportunity to support junior members of the team.

This is a well-rounded delegated authority position, where you will have a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Supporting the governance of all delegated authorities written.
  • Attending Lloyd's or Market DA meetings.
  • Providing day to day support to junior members of the team.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the annual review of the Delegated Authority process guides.
  • Delivering the quarterly Delegated Authority Controls Reviews and presenting findings.
  • Processing Lead DCOM entries.
  • Processing New Coverholder Applications.
  • Processing mid-term contract changes.
  • Deputising for the Head of Delegated Authority as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical delegated authority role.
  • Experience of Coverholder Applications and conducting Coverholder due diligence.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships at varying levels with both internal and external parties.
  • Collaborative team player but also has the ability to work independently.
  • Able to multi-task whilst working in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Please note you will be required to travel to their London office 2/3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Delegated Authority Analyst looking for the next step up - you will be able to influence, develop & drive a small team, deputise for the Head of Delegated Authority but also have a very dynamic role where you will touch on all areas of delegated authority whilst working in a very collaborative team.
