Position Overview
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is a prominent NHS trust in the UK, renowned for delivering exceptional acute and specialized healthcare services to a diverse patient population.
The Bowel Cancer Screening Centre at UCLH is undergoing expansion, providing essential bowel screening services to residents aged 50 to 74. We also offer colonoscopy surveillance for all Lynch patients in our region. To accommodate the increasing patient demand, we are enhancing our colonoscopy lists and clinics annually, facilitating investigations at our main site and affiliated hospitals.
This position is aligned with the new NHS pay structure, which will be implemented in the near future. It is important to note that if employment commences prior to the new pay scales, remuneration will be based on the existing pay structure, with adjustments made accordingly.
Key Responsibilities

- Monitoring patient journeys through their care pathways.
- Organizing patient appointments efficiently.
- Processing clinical correspondence promptly.
- Supporting the administration of Lynch surveillance and clinics.
Ideal candidates will possess prior administrative experience within an NHS setting and have familiarity with screening processes. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with a diverse range of patients and colleagues. Candidates should demonstrate excellent teamwork, negotiation, and organizational abilities, with a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
We provide excellent professional development opportunities for administrative staff, both within the Division and across the organization.
