Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications Officer to join our client's team on a temporary basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital communications plans to engage target audiences and promote the organization's mission.
  • Plan, write, edit, and review communication and marketing materials, including blog posts, reports, editorial content, social media posts, and advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the team, partners, and stakeholders to identify communications opportunities that maximize the organization's impact.
  • Oversee the production process for reports, including proofing, design, approval, and publication.
  • Monitor and evaluate communications activity and produce reports for senior management, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure commissioned work is completed to the required standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Support media relations activities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
