We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our dynamic team at a reputable main dealer in Heathrow.
The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring all work meets DVSA standards.
- Collaborating with the workshop team to maintain an efficient and organized work environment.
- Providing excellent customer service, offering clear communication about repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician in a main dealer or similar environment.
- A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- A full UK driving license (Class 1 HGV License preferred).
