About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team at ARU. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects that deliver IT-based solutions for our students and staff.

With a strong background in IT and emerging technologies, you will have a sound knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. You will also have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
