Position Overview:
Our client, React Recruitment Ltd, is in search of an Engineering Training Specialist with a focus on mechanical or electrical disciplines.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that does not require formal teaching qualifications; however, a genuine enthusiasm for educating others is essential.


Compensation:
£50,000 per annum

Work Location:
Primarily based in Rochester, with necessary travel across the UK and internationally.

Employee Benefits:

All travel expenses covered, including hotel stays and fuel costs. Enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, monthly salary payments, and the potential to become a shareholder, reaping the rewards of share dividends and tax-free bonuses.


Working Hours:
Standard office hours (9 AM to 5 PM) are expected, but flexibility is required as the role may involve evening and weekend commitments.

Time off in lieu will be provided for travel on Sundays or outside regular hours.


Expense Reimbursement:
Instructors will be reimbursed for accommodation and meals incurred while traveling for work.

Mileage Compensation:
Reimbursement is provided at the current Inland Revenue rate of 45p per mile.

Transportation:
Instructors typically use their own vehicles, which must be suitable for the role. Company vans are also available for use.

A valid UK driving license is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and conduct short training sessions for small groups of engineers.
  • Primarily operate in Kent, with travel required throughout the UK and abroad.
  • Manage parts ordering, liaise with subcontractors, construct training rigs, investigate technical challenges, and prepare course materials.
  • Effectively deliver training programs in areas of expertise such as mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Possesses knowledge in Electrical/Electronic engineering, with relevant qualifications or experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with adult learners in an engaging and positive manner.
  • Ensures training content is captivating, relevant, and current.
  • Recognizes opportunities for improvement and possesses the drive to implement changes.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Is proficient in computer usage.
