Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's manufacturing plant in Newry. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery to ensure optimal production output.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform planned maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to identify and resolve production output issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Completed apprenticeship in an Electrical discipline within a manufacturing industry.
- BTEC ONC qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding and planned maintenance.
- Logical and well-organized approach to problem-solving.
