Job Title: Building Surveyor Manager

Stockport Homes Group is a leading provider of housing and community services, and we're seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and responding to disrepair claims, project managing fire damage and minor works projects, and providing a fully technical service to our customers.

We're looking for a confident and experienced individual with a proven track record of managing and defending disrepair cases within a social housing environment. You'll need to have a comprehensive understanding of Housing legislation, including HHSRS, and excellent communication skills to develop strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognised building-related qualification (HNC or equivalent)
  • Experience dealing with contracts and contract management
  • Knowledge of current legislation relating to landlords' repairing obligations and HHSRS
  • The ability to work under pressure and have a forward-thinking and positive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience using IT applications and Microsoft software, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook

A valid Full UK Driving Licence is required for this role.
