Position Overview

The Senior Technical Consultant role at Cisilion Professional Services involves providing expert consultation, design, planning, and implementation of technical projects. This position requires close collaboration with Principal Technical Consultants, Presale Architects, and various teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in relevant technologies, delivering impactful technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and developing comprehensive proposals.
  • Serve as a mentor and technical escalation point, offering expert-level knowledge and guidance on design standards and best practices.
  • Work in partnership with Account Managers, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Design and implement services across a variety of clients and technologies, producing essential technical documentation such as High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and Statements of Work (SoW).
  • Lead the design, implementation, migration, and testing of technical solutions, including the creation of customer-facing documentation.
  • Facilitate design workshops with clients to identify viable technical solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ensure projects are executed within agreed timelines, quality standards, scope, and budget, while effectively managing risks and changes.
  • Contribute to the development of test documentation and scenarios, striving to meet or exceed personal objectives and KPIs.
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems and processes, making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Promote and uphold Cisilion's brand and values within the Professional Services sector.
  • Oversee and manage teams of consultants throughout project lifecycles.

Essential:

  • AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • AZ-500 – Azure Security Technologies
  • AZ-400 – Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
  • AZ-305 – Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure

Desirable:

  • AZ-140 – Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
  • AZ-700 – Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions
  • SC-200 – Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
  • DP-300 – Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions

Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in Azure infrastructure services, focusing on IaaS and PaaS, with a strong understanding of virtual machines, networking, and Azure SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-premise technologies, including Active Directory and Windows Server, and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical designs.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (BICEP), PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.
  • Extensive background in designing solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 across various sectors, incorporating lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to apply Microsoft best practices, with familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
  • Strong communication, planning, and time management skills, along with a commitment to delivering quality and excellence.
