Location: Bristol

Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 + 6% Pension + Excellent Benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial/Contract/Procurement Manager or similar with a background in Procurement and a focus on stakeholder engagement to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our defence industry team, you will be responsible for leading procurement and stakeholder engagement initiatives for some of the world's most top-secret projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement and stakeholder engagement initiatives for defence industry projects
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including defence industry clients and suppliers
  • Manage and negotiate contracts to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and stakeholder engagement in the defence industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
