Peregrine Retail Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Stanton service station.
Key Responsibilities:- Budget Management: Maximize sales revenue while adhering to company budgetary limits.
- Customer Service: Set a high standard of customer service by demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and ensuring staff deliver exceptional service.
- Stock Control: Efficiently manage stock levels, place orders, and oversee deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
- Site Presentation/Merchandising: Maintain a well-presented store, adhering to planograms and ensuring high standards of housekeeping.
- Fuel/Forecourt Management: Order and manage fuel supplies, ensuring the forecourt meets company and statutory standards.
- Administration: Effectively manage all paperwork and administration, including site systems and promotions.
- Security: Ensure the safety of premises, personnel, cash, stock, and property by complying with security procedures.
- People Management: Manage staff rotas, motivate staff, and conduct on-the-job training to develop their skills and potential.
- Communication: Liaise with the Area Manager, communicate company information, and maintain relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
- Site Maintenance/Hygiene: Manage equipment upkeep, report issues promptly, and ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Training: Conduct induction and on-the-job training to develop staff skills and potential.
- Legal Compliance: Act as license holder for the sale of alcohol, comply with legal requirements, and ensure Trading Standards requirements are met.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and regulations, ensuring staff are aware of their responsibilities.
