COMPENSATION AND PERKS:

Day Shifts: £15.75 Monday to Friday (overtime available on weekends)
Night Shifts: £18.24 Monday to Friday (overtime available on weekends)
ROLE DETAILS:
Rapier Employment is actively seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for our esteemed client in the Nottingham region. Both day and night shifts are on offer. Routes may extend as far as Scotland. Due to the nature of the high-value cargo, a valid DBS check is required prior to starting any assessments and work on site. Vehicles are equipped with maple locks and an anti-hijack system. All drivers will be provided with a panic alarm and 360-degree cameras within the cab.
Candidates will be required to complete a driving and theory assessment, along with a drugs and alcohol test after successful pre-employment checks.
SHIFT START TIMES:
Day Shifts: Between early morning
Night Shifts: Between evening hours, predominantly starting in the evening
ADDITIONAL POSITION INFORMATION:
- Box trailers utilized.
- Involves bay work.
- Long-term employment opportunity.
- Weekend work available if desired.
- Average of 50-60 hours per week.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in Class 1 driving.
- Must have held HGV Class 1 Licence for a minimum of one year.
- At least 6 months of experience operating HGV Class 1 vehicles.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work.
- No DR10s, CD10s, or IN10s - Maximum of 6 points on license.
- Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification are mandatory.
