Civils CAD Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civils CAD Technician to join our team at AWC STAFF SERVICES LTD. As a Civils CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in taking concept designs through to detailed manufacturing drawings using your expertise in AutoCAD Software and other software platforms.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, produce, develop, and amend drawings in accordance with appropriate standards and procedures, and in line with agreed timescales and deadlines.
  • Draw and develop site layouts, GA drawings, steel structure drawings, block diagrams, single line diagrams, cable routing and wiring diagrams, assembly and part drawings, and associated schedules.
  • Provide technical support to on-site technicians.
  • Revise drawings and red-line markups appropriately.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders, across various teams and discipline groups, across various projects.
  • Be proactive in streamlining and automating drawing and engineering processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in AutoCAD Software and other software platforms.
  • Knowledge of civils projects and CAD design principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
