This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading client based in Greater Manchester, providing support to the wider group with regards to Quality, Environmental and Sustainability strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality policies and management systems follow the wider group objectives, procedures and standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading project-related workshops on special topics with regards to Quality and Sustainability
  • Supporting the definition of objectives and KPIs with site/department heads
  • Standards quality management procedures through the group
  • Reaching consensus on best practices between international companies
  • Conducting regular meetings with Quality managers for alignment and fostering the exchange of knowledge between quality departments
  • Group quality reporting, gap analysis, diagnosis and validation of results and definition of further improvement options, supplier audits

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment, with strong knowledge of quality management systems.

They will be an effective leader with the ability to educate and influence decisions, with an outstanding eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and deliver solutions.

The role requires a willingness to travel regularly and a passion for sustainability and the various projects that will arise.
