About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient IT Support Specialist to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Corporate Operational structure, you will work closely with Patient Access, Medical Records, and Divisional operational teams to ensure the effective use of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT System Management: Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, including testing new software releases and reporting any errors to software suppliers.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Regularly undertake and ensure Data Quality audits are completed, and produce and analyze Duplicate Registration reports to ensure case notes and ICS PAS are merged.
  • Customer Support: Deal with complex telephone and email enquiries from users concerning Data Quality issues, providing advice in a non-technical language.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce and present data using Microsoft Excel and Word, and analyze complex data to inform business decisions.
  • Information Governance: Ensure a sound understanding of Information Governance, including Data Protection and Confidentiality, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Prince 2 Foundation or equivalent.
  • Experience of accurate and timely data entry and producing reports.
  • Data Quality Experience and Data Standards Knowledge.
  • Importing and presenting data using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to analyze complex data.
  • Can deliver timely and accurate data whilst working under pressure.
