Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged within the Urology operating rooms for a Band 5 Theatre Practitioner specializing as an ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse. We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking individual to become a vital part of our collaborative theatre team.

You will be joining a proactive and dynamic group of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest standards of perioperative care. Each day presents unique challenges and rewards, and we take pride in our teamwork, continuous learning, and innovative approaches.

Working Hours

The role requires a commitment of hours per week, operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6 PM.

Qualifications Required

Applicants must hold an anaesthetic qualification and be registered with the HCPC or have completed a recognized University-accredited anaesthetic course if they are a registered nurse.

Due to the use of laser and radiation in our services, additional responsibilities may be assigned to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver exceptional care with a focus on patient safety and quality.
  • Exhibit effective teamwork and communication skills while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute actively to the enhancement of professional practices within the team and Clinical Support Division.

While experience in Urology is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

All candidates must maintain registration with their respective professional regulatory body and adhere to their professional code of conduct. Proof of ongoing registration will be required, along with a recognized anaesthetic qualification.
