The firm provides a range of services to include lettings and sales, property development and investment, asset management, lease advisory, valuations, and property management.

With offices in various locations, Flude Commercial predominantly focuses on the commercial property markets. With over 25 years in business operating in the property market, Flude has grown to be one of the largest surveying practices in the region.

Flude Commercial is a member of the Commercial Property Network (CPN) - a national network of firms similar to Flude. This provides excellent networking opportunities, access to a huge and national wealth of knowledge, regular referral opportunities, the ability to offer services and compete at a national level.

The team is heavily involved in the commercial property market, extending day-to-day to various areas. The team is involved in most forms of commercial property with a particularly strong presence in the office, industrial, and retail markets.

The Agency Team

The agency team is complimented by a hands-on lease advisory team, enabling a comprehensive transaction service to be offered to clients. We are looking to recruit an experienced, ambitious, and hard-working surveyor to join our Agency department.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for career development, with a clear path towards Directorship and the potential to progress to Head of Department and equity shareholding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily instructions and lead generation
  • Collaborate with colleagues from our Property Management and Professional department to identify opportunities
  • Take ownership of workload with limited involvement from other senior colleagues
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues
  • Implement policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practice to include Anti-Money Laundering regulations
  • Regularly network to promote the business and themselves
  • Undertake a minimum of 20 hours of CPD and training
  • Tackle specific weaknesses and gain knowledge and acquire new skills by developing professional competencies

About You

The successful candidate attributes will include:

  • 4+ years experience in the property industry
  • Qualified as AssocRICS or MRICS, or working towards RICS Qualification
  • Professional and objective approach to work
  • Commercially minded and understanding the balance needed as an agent in providing clients with good quality advice and the need to earn fees
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think laterally
  • Effective organisational and planning skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • High level of numeracy and experience working with Excel
  • Accurate, diligent, and attentive to detail
  • Full clean driving license

Package

The package will be commensurate with experience and will be in the region of £36,000 - £50,000 plus car allowance, phone allowance, pension, and bonus (PRP).
