About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at WH Bence. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install and commission commercial air conditioning systems in our workshop
  2. Carry out on-site repairs and maintenance on air conditioning equipment
  3. Attend off-site equipment breakdowns and repairs
  4. Conduct routine maintenance visits to ensure optimal system performance
  5. Field breakdowns over the phone and provide technical support to service engineers
  6. Maintain and order necessary filters and parts for stock and ongoing repairs
  7. Ensure job cards are requested from third-party visits and uploaded onto our company software
  8. Collaborate with third-party suppliers to develop and improve existing and new air conditioning systems
  9. Monitor air conditioning emails and respond accordingly, working with our service support team
Requirements
  1. 5 years' experience as a FGAS qualified engineer
  2. Previous experience in servicing and installing air conditioning units is essential
  3. Ability to use initiative to conduct fault finding
  4. Full UK driving license, as this role involves travel
  5. Desirable experience in servicing and maintaining chiller systems, particularly water chiller and refrigeration
