Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Violence Advisor to join our team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and support to victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver domestic violence and abuse agenda and processes across the Trust, working within a multi-agency framework.
  • Provide one-to-one support to patients who have experienced domestic violence or abuse, prioritizing those at medium to high risk of harm.
  • Complete risk assessments and safety plans, agree referral and care pathways, and provide appropriate support to patients as required.
  • Signpost patients to a range of services and arrange meetings with other agencies/services as necessary.
  • Act as the first point of contact for referrals and provide staff with guidance and support with referrals.
  • Participate in Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs) framework in Bath and North East Somerset and Wiltshire.
