Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment. As a key member of our veterinary hospital, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of veterinary care in a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong background in internal medicine, oncology, or cardiology. As a Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will work closely with senior management to ensure the highest standard of care within the internal medicine, oncology, and cardiology departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional clinical care to patients, including wards nursing, imaging and endoscopy procedures, and long-term case management.
  • Mentor and lead a team of veterinary nurses to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Coordinate case throughput and maintain effective communication across departments.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1 year of veterinary experience (preferred)
  • RCVS certification (preferred)
