Job Summary
Career Moves is seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team. As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of products with game release and update requirements, while designing, implementing, and maintaining release pipelines and processes for multi-platform game projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Release Planning and Coordination
- Plan and prepare DLC content for release across all platforms, coordinating with Production, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure content and store assets are delivered in a timely manner and product pricing is accurate.
- Platform Support and Release Management
- Act as the point of contact for platform support and release management, ensuring seamless communication with platform stakeholders (Quest, Sony, Steam).
- Risk Analysis and Submission Strategies
- Conduct risk analyses to make recommendations on submission strategies, ensuring the successful release of games on various platforms.
- Digital Content Management
- Ensure that data required for digital content online are correctly received, including promotional graphics, content, video, or text showcasing the product in the online store.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively plan release schedules and milestones, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in video game development, preferably in a Release Management/Live Ops role.
- Familiarity with platform submission requirements, with an emphasis on Steam and PlayStation.
- Preferred experience working with XFN stakeholders in a high-paced environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
