Position Overview

We are currently seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to enhance our team in London. This role is pivotal within the EMEA Inventory Planning team, which is responsible for comprehensive inventory oversight, including 18-month material planning and fiscal alignment for our Europe Wholesale and Europe DTC operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Optimization: Implement the inventory asset management strategy, ensuring alignment with established inventory turnover goals and Open-to-Buy (OTB) targets for designated categories.
  • Service, Margin, Quality: Execute seasonal buying programs in line with the buying calendar and lead times, collaborating closely with leadership.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track on-hand SKU counts against established KPIs, analyze SKU performance, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Forecasting: Develop material level phased inbound forecasts, leveraging brand strategy, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside demand planning and commercial teams to ensure synchronization of material level and financial forecasts, managing monthly and seasonal reviews.
  • Logistics Support: Assist the logistics team in planning inbound shipments to optimize capacity and enhance lead-time efficiencies.
  • Distribution Strategy: Oversee outbound product distribution, monitoring booking activities against inventory flow constraints.
  • Procurement Management: Assess and recommend optimal production dates to meet customer demand while maintaining delivery accuracy on open purchase orders.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze factory purchase order dates and styles in relation to customer demand, reporting any discrepancies to the planning leader.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory planning or merchandising.
  • Knowledge of inventory mathematics is advantageous.
  • A foundational understanding of product lifecycle planning.
  • Good financial acumen.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
