Senior Tax Analyst Opportunity

Hutcheon Mearns is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to support the EMEA Region's tax compliance and commercial tax advice. This is an exciting role that will offer the successful candidate opportunities to advance their career.

The successful candidate will assist and support the Regional Tax Manager (EMEA) in the preparation of all tax compliance obligations, tax reporting, and other commercial tax advice in the EMEA region. They will also assist the global tax director to maintain and control the Group's global tax compliance monitoring system and assist the tax team globally on other ad hoc projects and duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Tax Manager (EMEA) across all taxes/countries in the region
  • Assist with preparation of VAT returns, Corporate Tax analysis work, and preparation work
  • Assistance with UK PSA return preparation
  • General administration and maintenance of HMRC online portal account and other online tax authority's online portal accounts
  • Support with global tax administration and global tax reporting
  • Assist the global tax director and tax managers in other regions on an ad hoc basis where required
  • Support with audit preparation

Requirements:

  • Tax experience in practice and industry
  • Worked on large oil and gas service company clients
  • Looking to further their career
