Position Overview

Are you a seasoned Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer looking for a new opportunity within the nuclear sector? This role offers a chance to leverage your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead EC&I Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver comprehensive design packages for current and future project phases.
  • Collaborate with a team of nuclear specialists to enhance EC&I processes.
  • Support the development of facilities to meet future analytical demands.
Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in the design of various EC&I building services, particularly low voltage electrical distribution.
  • Experience with radiological and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Proficiency in designing electrical distribution systems, including high and low voltage cable routes, transformers, and switchgear.
  • A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to facilitate the selection and design of new electrical supply routes.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and strong Excel capabilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Previous involvement in designing laboratory facilities and integrating electrical services into modular systems.
Desirable Attributes

While not essential, the following will be advantageous:

  • Experience in designing new facilities for the nuclear sector.
  • A Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
