Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in feasibility studies and write procurement reports
  • Estimate and cost plan, including producing and presenting the final cost plan, utilizing relevant cost management tools and services
  • Tender and procure, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, producing the preliminaries, tender analysis, producing the tender report, and compiling contractual documents
  • Conduct contract administration, including dealing with post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Take personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
  • Contribute to value engineering
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
  • Interface with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages

Requirements:

  • Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Demonstrable experience delivering cost management services in healthcare or life sciences
  • Working towards or full membership of RICS (MRICS), ACostE, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Knowledge of NEC forms of contract beneficial
