About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant and Fleet Controller to join our team in the South West Region on a fixed-term 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for continuous improvement and safety performance of the transport fleet, utilizing telematics data and coaching underperforming drivers.
  • Lead investigations of Motor Vehicle Incidents to establish causation and remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet team and HR team in addressing road vehicle offences and prevention methods.
  • Ensure that reported complaints and issues are thoroughly investigated.
  • Liaise with all Regions, Departments, and MGroup functions, building excellent working relationships and encouraging a One Team approach.
  • Take on new assignments when required.
  • Provide assistance and cover for all levels in all regions as business need dictates.
