Job Overview

This position is a non-resident role with current on-call obligations for both Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

Applicants should be registered with the GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of their CCT or an equivalent qualification at the time of the interview.

Main Responsibilities

The role involves providing comprehensive care in general obstetrics and gynaecology within a significant maternity unit. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting outpatient clinics
  • Managing inpatient care
  • Participating in operating lists
  • Providing consultant on-call coverage

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • MRCOG
  • Full registration and a license to practice with the GMC
  • On the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT from the date of the interview
