About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled social media editor to join our team and transform our existing content for social media platforms. As a key member of our video and social team, you will work closely with us to reimagine our content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. With a vast range of content at your disposal, you will need to prioritize and work efficiently to meet our needs.

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work between our London office and remotely. Please note that this is an initial 3-month contract position.

The Role:

  • Identify key clips from finished pieces for social media
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and analyze what generates the most views
  • Collaborate with the team to obtain necessary assets
  • Export and track edits
  • Work with the social team and management to prioritize edits

Required Skills:

  • Mid-weight knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Stay current with social trends and the ever-changing social landscape, with a strong understanding of native content performance across relevant platforms
  • Up-to-date understanding of social media platforms, with a focus on YouTube
  • Firm knowledge of video codecs/file formats for social and online use
  • Basic understanding of file servers, NAS, etc.
  • Understanding of content consumption and distribution in a digital context
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and social video styles
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to follow strict workflow and procedures
  • Experience with QCing different media formats
  • Enthusiasm for editing and learning new formats
  • Mac user
  • Good team player
