Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Syntech Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and solidify our presence in the market.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by promoting our company's brand and introducing new products and services to the market.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
- Build and promote healthy, long-lasting new customer relationships by partnering with them.
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
- Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understanding new customer requirements, and suggesting system improvements to achieve our marketing goals.
- Develop and implement new sales plans and advertising.
- Develop relationships with important new customers by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
- Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
- Monitor and analyze performance of areas of the business to establish profit improvements and identify operational improvements.
- Plan and carry out effective research to identify sales opportunities and use lead referrals to maximize potential business.
- Ensure delivery of revenue to meet and exceed targets.
- Liaise and work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely delivery of customer quotations.
- Provide the Commercial Director with KPI and sales reports.
- Comply with company H&S guidelines.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing, as well as excellent analytical, organizational, and creative skills. You should be able to work under pressure and have a clear understanding of metrology processes.
