Cleaner - Malpas Park Primary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to join our team at Malpas Park Primary in Newport. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring the site is secure and well-maintained, and undertaking various cleaning duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Report any defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors

Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual with previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role. You should have knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the post, including the use of machinery and cleaning products. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously are also essential.
