Job Title: Licensed Aviation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Aviation Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Licensed Aviation Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance for a range of business aircraft under Part-145 maintenance control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities within approved regulatory framework, prioritizing safety and operational efficiencies
  • Conduct meticulous pre-flight inspections in adherence to established procedures and quality standards, ensuring health and safety are maintained
  • Execute daily maintenance tasks proficiently within approved service centres, minimizing downtime and ensuring prompt service delivery
  • Coordinate unscheduled maintenance actions effectively, providing timely recommendations to optimize resource utilization while maintaining safety protocols
  • Release Work Orders in strict compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures, facilitating efficient record-keeping and minimizing operational disruptions
  • Collaborate closely with hangar management to track progress, manage manpower, and address critical path issues, ensuring seamless workflow and timely project completion
  • Collaborate with support services for efficient spares procurement, managing shortage reports and accessing repair and technical information as needed
  • Uphold stringent quality standards by providing clear direction to staff, ensuring comprehensive work instructions, and enforcing adherence to the quality system

Requirements:

  • One or more of the following Type Ratings: EMB 135/145 (Legacy 600/650), EMB Lineage 1000 (EMB 190), Legacy 500 (Preator), Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Challenger 604/605, Bombardier Global BD700
  • Valid Part 66 License

Working Hours: 19:00 - 07:00 working a shift pattern of 5,5,4,5,5,4
