Personality Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills. This role requires an individual capable of managing multiple projects, solving problems, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

This position calls for a reliable self-starter to oversee the operational management of field staff and ensure the smooth delivery of services.

  1. Assessing operations and staff performance on a nationwide level.
  2. Ensuring optimal deployment of field staff to minimise downtime and unproductive hours.
  3. Managing warehouse and fleet operations across different regions.
  4. Fostering strong working relationships with the planning team to enhance the efficient deployment of site staff.
  5. Implementing quality control procedures and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
  6. Organising training programmes and workshops for both new and existing staff.
  7. Establishing business targets and objectives and working with the team to achieve them.
  8. Providing guidance and mentorship to field staff.
  9. Overseeing customer relations, addressing issues, and attending meetings as necessary.
  10. Ensuring the organisation remains compliant with legal requirements.
  11. Managing budgets and financial forecasts.
  12. Conducting quality control assessments and monitoring field production KPIs.
  13. Leading recruitment efforts, onboarding, and the day-to-day management of field staff.
  14. Overseeing staff performance management, including disciplinary procedures.
  15. Actively identifying ways to improve the quality of customer service.
  16. Assisting in the introduction and development of new field services and products.
  17. Serving as the out-of-hours contact if required to support field staff.
  18. Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
  19. Familiarity with business and financial principles.
  20. NEBOSH or equivalent certification.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
  1. Producing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments.
  2. Reviewing and producing health and safety policies.
  3. Acting as the health and safety officer for all field staff.
Resources Requirements
  1. Laptop with Microsoft Office.
