Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and processing quotations, bids, and tenders for construction projects.
  • Generating a detailed bill of quantities for final submission to clients.
  • Conducting regular valuations of ongoing construction work to ensure accurate project tracking.
  • Measuring, valuing, submitting, and negotiating contract variations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Managing multiple construction projects concurrently to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Providing commercial and contractual guidance to project personnel and attending construction sites as necessary.
  • Assisting in the review and processing of subcontractor payment applications to ensure timely payments.
  • Ensuring compliance with and promoting the company's Health and Safety policy to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • A degree in quantity surveying or a related construction discipline is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in surveying or estimating is required for this position.
  • A-Level or equivalent qualifications are preferred but not essential.

Experience

  • Surveying: 1 year of experience is required for this role.

Licence/Certification

  • A valid driving licence is required for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
