Job Summary:

Squires Resources Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team in Grand Cayman. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot server and desktop operating systems and applications.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, owning escalations from the Service Desk and working as a team to resolve issues either onsite or remotely.
  • Provide technical and commercial guidance to other members of the team.
  • Manage projects and other team members to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in the company CRM and service desk application.
  • Perform remote IT systems management and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the creation and establishment of goals, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience architecting and implementing solutions for Windows Server (physical and virtual) and networking infrastructure.
  • ~3+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft 365.
  • ~Relevant Microsoft certifications and education.
  • ~Experience establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, and the business community.
  • ~Ability to work to deadlines running multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • ~Experience managing others and monitoring and maintaining a service desk and RMM software.
  • ~Experience working in the education vertical with schools/groups of schools would be an asset.
